On behalf of Linda Pennington’s family I want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone at Community Mortuary, LLC! I was the one who dealt with the staff the most! I can’t say one bad word about any of the staff! Candace Jenkins is top notch and she went above and beyond for us! We all have been treated with the utmost respect and kindness! I cannot thank the staff enough!
On behalf of the “Sharon Delores (Glenn) Kelly” family, we want to express our heartfelt thanks for the exceptional service and compassion Michael A. Glenn and his staff provided during this difficult time. Dealing with the loss of a loved one is an emotional and overwhelming experience, and your professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care made all the difference.
From the initial arrangements to the final farewell, you guided us with grace and kindness, easing our burden every step of the way. Your thoughtfulness and support were truly appreciated and will not be forgotten.
Thank you again for everything you did to make this challenging time a bit more bearable.

My family and I would like to express our sincere thanks to community mortuary. The kindness and professionalism shown to us during this difficult time was appreciated. thank you for everything that you’ve done.
My Grandmother, Pauline "Sunshine" Dawkins wanted Michael Glenn and Community Mortuary to perform her services. They were very compassionate, accommodating, and efficient. It was a very quick turnaround to ensure my 91 year old grandmother was buried on a Sunday; as she desired. Although the turnaround was quick, Sunshine was beautifully presented and the staff was very professional and personable. Thank you Community Mortuary and all the staff for making a difficult time bearable. As Pauline "Sunshine" Dawkins would say, "well done."
My brother, George Burgess, lovingly known by his family as "Bub," was born on January 13, 1951 in Spartanburg, SC. to George (deceased) and Louise Burgess. He was blessed with a rich family of 8 sisters: Hettie, Hester (deceased), JoAnn, Michelle, Mazie, Linda, Elizabeth and Marlene, as well as three brothers: Steven, David and Daryl (deceased).
Bub loved his family, particularly his two children (Leon and Syreeta). Without a doubt he will be missed, but his family rest in peace knowing he is with his heavily father now.
We love you Bub, rest in peace.
