Willie Mae (Foster) Woodruff

Willie Mae Foster Woodruff, 95, of 122 Dover Road, Spartanburg, SC passed away April 16, 2020 in Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.  A native of  Spartanburg, SC,she  was the widow of Malcolm Mack Woodruff and daughter of the late Bill Foster and Gladys Foster Foster.  She attended Florence Chapel High School and was of the Baptist faith.  She was a former employee of the YMCA.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Mack Jr. Woodruff and Ernest Earl Woodruff, four daughters, Corrie Rice, Gladys Vernette Thompson, Mary Jane Glenn, and Patricia Ann Parks, and a grandson, Robert Lewis Jackson.  She is survived by six sons, Willie James (Cynthia) Woodruff, Sammie Lee (Vickie) Woodruff, Thomas Edward Woodruff, Johnny Earl (Jeanette) Woodruff, Billy Ray (Janice) Woodruff, and Robert Lewis Woodruff all of Spartanburg, SC; two daughters, Shirley Ann McKinney and Sylvia Ann Lowrance both of Woodruff, SC; sixty grandchildren, one hundred twenty-seven great-grandchildren, and fifty great-great-grandchildren, one great-great-great-grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews, and cousins.  Arrangements are with Community Mortuary, 102 Marion Avenue, Spartanburg, SC.
