Virginia (Jeter) Smith

Virginia  Jeter Smith, 73, of 113 Belvedere Drive, Spartanburg, SC went to be with Jesus Christ  Sunday morning, January 17, 2021.  Sister Virginia Smith was born January 8, 1948.  Her parents were the late Amanda and Henry Jeter. She is survived by one sister, Mother Judy Woodruff; two brothers, James(Kay) Jeter and Paul(Lynester) Jeter.  She was married to Curtis R. Smith, Sr. for 54 years.  To this union six children were born, Michael(deceased), Sharon Melissa, Reginald Olanda, Christopher Dewayne (Gwendolyn), Curtis Ross Smith, Jr. and Tamara Faith Smith.  All she wants peope to remember about her was that she was a servant of God's people.  Visitation will be held at the home on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 from 2pm - 6pm.  Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday January, 21, 2021 at Friendship Baptist Church with burial immediately following at Heritage Memorial Gardens.  Arrangements are with Community Mortuary, 102 marion Avenue, Spartanburg, SC.
