Ulysses Ezell "Lil Man" Harris was born February 16, 1962. A native of Jonesville, SC. He was the husband of Benita Jennings Harris and the son of the late Martha Lizzie "Nig" Harris and Kimzy Smith.
Ulyssess was of the Baptist faith and a 1981 graduate of Jonesville High School. He was a former employee of Gillespie Milliken Plant. Prior to Gillespie, he was employed with Cone Mill Carlisle Finishing Plant, The Kohler Company, Conso Annex, and Buffalo Mill. He held various jobs, mainly as a machine operator and a machine technician. He retired after many years of dedicated service.
Ulyssess was a kindhearted and hardworking man who loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed cooking on the grill and baking cakes.
He entered eternal rest on Sunday night, November 12, 2023, in Union Post Acute Care.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Kimzy Arness Smith; , his mother-in-law, Dorothy Jennings; one brother-in-law, Donald Jennings and one sister-in-law, Rhonda Jennings.
He leaves fond and precious memories to his wife, Benita Harris; two sons. Malik (Vanessa) Harris and Jamel Harris; four daughters, Sheena Jennings, Ashley Mole, Leketha Harris, and Allyson Harris; nine grandchildren, Kayden Harris, Miles Harris, Shekeem Jennings, Ja'Quas Harris, Syncere Harris, Ur'Majesty Harris, Z'Maya Harris, Synaya Mole, Nevaca Mole; five brothers, Willie (Elizabeth) Harris, Fred Harris, Boyd Harris, Ezell Smith, and Robert Smith; three sisters, Carolyn Moore, Antha Norris, and Joyce Smith; father-in-law, Victor Nash, Jr.; sister-in-law, Stephanie (Danny) Goode; brother-in-law, Frederick (Elaine) Nash; three special cousins, Doris Hardy, Herman Harris, and Thomas Jennings; two special aunts, Patricia Harris and Barbara Jennings; a special nephew, Kier Jennings; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends at 164 Hill Top View, Union, SC.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Community Mortuary, Inc., 361 Meansville Road, Union SC.
