Tonya Leakia Giles

Tonya Leakia Giles, 61, of Buffalo, SC, was born on November 29, 1963. She tragically departed this earthly life on March 13, 2025. A native of Union County, she was the daughter of the late Margaret Elizabeth Giles. 

Tonya was a graduate of Union High School, class of 1982. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree at University of South Carolina Upstate. She joined St. Luke Baptist Church. She was a veteran who honorably served in the United States Marine Corp Reserve. 

In addition to her mother, Tonya was preceded in death by one sister, Mitzi Giles Stewart.

Tonya leaves to cherish fond memories with two brothers Anthony M. Giles, and Rossettie "Rodney" L. Giles; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, coworkers, and friends, all of whom will miss her dearly.
