Terry Lee Reed, Sr.

Terry Lee Reed, Sr., 72, passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at Ellen Sager Nursing Center in Union, SC. He was born on August 5, 1651 in Spartanburg County, SC, to Ms. Celestine Bryant and Mr. Johnnie Brannon. After leaving school, he became a well known truck driver. His passion was driving and traveling from state to state for over thirty years. He truly enjoyed fishing, which was also his passion, as well as being surrounded by family and friends. Terry will always be remembered as the fun granddad.

Terry is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Clyde Reed, his favorite cousin, Ray Bryant, all of whom are from Spartanburg County, and his son-in-law, Charles Womack of Greenwood, MS.

Terry leaves to cherish fond memories his loving wife of twenty seven years, Clarice Reed; his children, Denise Arias (Francisco) of Spartanburg, SC, Tina Reed-Womack of Greenwood, MS, Terry Reed, Jr. (TJ) of Spartanburg, SC, and Hakeem Reed (Snook) of Anderson, SC, Claudia and Eunice of Chicago, IL, Vera of Spartanburg, SC, Ernest of TX, and John of OH; thirteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; four great great-grandchildren; four brothers, Doug Bryant, Bobby Bryant, Curtis Reed, and Nathaniel Reid of Spartanburg, SC; one special aunt, Sarah Bryant of Spartanburg, SC; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Community Mortuary, Inc., 102 Marion Avenue, Spartanburg, SC.
