Terry Ann (Hearst) "Ma Ann" Doggett

Terry Ann Hearst Doggett, 70, of Spartanburg, SC, passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at Spartanburg Medical Center. A native of Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late Perry Hearst, Sr., and Naomi Irene Clark Hearst.

Terry Ann, affectionately known as “Ma Ann” graduated from Spartanburg High School in 1973. She was a waitress for many years at Wades until her retirement. She was a member of the Sympathy Club. She was a faithful member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Spartanburg, SC.

In addition to her parents, Terry is preceded in death by a daughter, Tessa Kennedy; two brothers, David Hearst, Sr. and Perry Hearst, Jr.; two sisters, Patricia Pearson, and Christine Byrd.

Left to cherish fond and precious memories are her longtime companion, Tony Rogers; daughter, Kimberly Hearst; four grandchildren, Jasmine Hearst, Keashia Hearst, JaKeaun Scott, and Kymlea Scott; two sisters, Geraldine (Paul Foster) Wynn, and Tina (Garland) Chappell; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, all of whom will miss her dearly.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Community Mortuary, Inc., 102 Marion Avenue, Spartanburg, SC.
