Terry "Cot" Spencer, 65, of Carlisle, SC passed away on Wednesday morning, July 27, 2022 in Ellen Sagar Nursing Home.  A native of Union County, SC, he was the son of the late Milton Wallace Spencer and Sallie Mae Jeter Spencer.  He attended James Chapel Baptist Church and was a former employee of J. P. Stevens.  He was a graduate of Union High School.  He survived by one daughter, Ternarilyn Eison-Smith (Chasity);  two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers, William Ray Spencer (Kay) and Tommy L. Spencer (Marlene); four sisters, Barbara J. Sims (Alexander), Ethel Jenkins (William), Mildred Stewart (Charles), and Betty Siwecki (John); two aunts, Cora L. Hookerand Dorothy Spencer; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.  The family will receive friends at 608 Cambridge Street, Carlisle, SC. Arrangements have been entrusted to Community Mortuary, 361 Meansville Road, Union, SC.
