Terrell Antonyo Cohen

Terrell Antonyo “Dopey” Cohen, 40, of Spartanburg, SC died Thursday afternoon December 17, 2020.  A native of Spartanburg County, SC, he was the son of Joann Cohen (Randy) Bomar of the home and the late Joseph Gist.  He joined Mayfield Chapel Baptist Church at and early and attended Spartanburg County District Seven Schools and was member of the Class of 1993.  He was a former employee of Big Dog Movers.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Eddie Cohen, Sr. and Willie Mae Hunter Cohen;  three uncles, Author Earl Cohen, Eddie Cohen, Jr. and Kenneth Cohen; and one aunt, Ruby Cohen.  He leaves precious memories to his parents, Joann and Randy Bomar; four sisters, Riketha Cohen, Mia Cohen, Felecia (Lawrence) Davis, and Althea (Brian) Dickey; five brothers, Jarrod Gist, Warren Gist, Rodricus (Melanie) Smith, Kevin Mims, and Demetrius Bomar; one uncle, Bruce Cohen; two aunts, Michell Cohen and Pauline (Adrian) Amos; and one niece, Kelsey Fullenwinder; one great-nephew, Karter Fullenwinder;  cousins, Ashley McDowell, Tameka Cohen, Latasha Canada, Madea Gborto, and Shakiya Cohen; and a host of cousins and friends including a special friend,  Brittany Hughes.  Graveside service will be held Monday, December 21, 2020 at 12 noon at Mayfield Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery, 1065 Rogers Bridge Road, Duncan, SC.  The family will receive friends at the home, 346 Ammons Road, Spartanburg, SC.  Arrangements are with Community Mortuary, 102 Marion Avenue, Spartanburg, SC.
