Tawana Lovell (Cooper) Booker

Tawana Lovell Cooper Booker, 53, of Moore, SC passed away Thursday afternoon, July 9th, 2020 in Upstate Community Hospice House.  A native of Hemingway, SC, she was the wife of Steve Booker of the home and the daughter of Lucy Ann Cooper, the late Anderson Cooper and Janie B. Cooper and John L. Cyrus.  Tawana was a 1986 graduate of Paul M Dorman High School. Furthering her education, she attended Claflin University in Orangeburg, SC.  She was a member of Silver Hill Memorial United Methodist Church and an employee of Spartanburg County School District Six transportation.  She leaves to cherish her fond memories to her husband of the home; her daughter, Christina Lucille Booker of Moore, SC; two granddaughters, Teigan Moseley and Nylah Moseley; five brothers-in-law, David (Gerlene) Booker, Ronnie (Anna) Booker both of New York, Woodrow Booker and Willie (Lisa) Booker both of Spartanburg, SC, and Kevin (Robin) Booker of Pennsylvania; and a host of other loving cousins, relatives and friends.    The family will receive friends at 1549 Old Anderson Mill Road, Moore, SC.  Arrangements are with Community Mortuary, 102 Marion Avenue, Spartanburg, SC.
