Steven Louis Floyd, 59, of Jonesville, SC passed away on Wednesday afternoon, October 5, 2022. A native of Union County, SC, he was the son of the late Henry Steadman and the late Elwillie Floyd.
He was a member of Thompson Chapel Baptist Church and a 1981 graduate of Jonesville High School. He was an employee of Compa Logistics. He served in the SC Army National Guard. He was an avid fan of the Carolina Panthers.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, John Edward Floyd and Michael Thompson and one sister, Notie Pernola Floyd Thomas.
He leaves precious memories to two daughters, Sophia Floyd and Jenelle Stevenson; three grandchildren, Kelan Hunter, S’Ria Hunter, and Royce Robinson; a special mother, Elizabeth Thomas; three brothers, Pastor Joe Cephus Floyd, Pastor Willie (Darlene) Floyd, and Renard Steadman; five sisters, Clara Pearl Moorman, Addie (Wilbert) Thomas, Minister Lillie T. Wilkins, Betsy Long, and Audrey Lynn Jeter; a special friend, Lillie Benson; three aunts, Reverend Dorothy Garrett, Mary Etta Linder, and Jannie Mae Thomas; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends to include seven life-long friends, Walter Thomas, Jerry Smith, Randy Burgess, James Dial, Dion Littlejohn, Dr. C. A. Wallace, and Kerry Norman.
The family will receive friends at 1390 Sulphur Springs, Jonesville, SC.
