Steve Reddish, Sr. of Spartanburg, SC passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at Spartanburg Medical Center.
Steve was a native of Carrollton, Georgia, but became a resident of Spartanburg, South Carolina. In his early years, he attended Carrollton High School. He was the son of Zonia Mae Browning and the late Hubert Graham both of Georgia.
He enjoyed his work as a roofer and was retired from Pickens Roofing Company after thirty-five years of service. He was Baptist in faith.
He loved joking, cooking, and horseshoes. His favorite pastime was fishing with his best friend, James “Donut” Reid.
He leaves fond and cherishing memories to his wife, Jokeitha K. Reddish of the home; eleven children, Steve Reddish, Jr., Steven Reddish, Deion Reddish, Rebecca Reddish, Tracey Dawkins, `and Tim Dawkins all of Spartanburg, South Carolina Anita Reddish, Marsha Reddish Cochran, Chris Ackey, and Raymond Ackey all of Georgia; his “partner in crime”, and dearest granddaughter, Tyrin Reddish; thirty-two grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one brother, Elder Leon (Elaine)Bailey; one sister, Gloria McKinney (Daniel); mother-in-law, Julia Moore Cohen; brother-in-law, Harvey Harris, uncles and aunts; and host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Harris.
