Life Reflections of Stanley Wilson Robinson
Stanley Wilson Robinson, beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin, and friend, transitioned to be with the Lord on November 9, 2024 at Ellen Sager Nursing Home.
Stanley was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Wilson and Mrs. Helen Turner Robinson; two sons, Bryant Robinson and Robert Smith; and two nieces, Tonya Tucker-Smith and Anisa Tucker-Kilgore.
“Bug,” as he was affectionately known, attended Sunday school at St. Paul and Woodson Chapel Baptist Churches during his childhood and was a 1967 graduate of Sims High School.
Stanley enjoyed casually walking, watching sports, playing the lottery, and joking around with his family and friends. He held various job positions, but his longest position was held during his time in Atlanta, GA to care for his great niece and nephew.
Stanley is survived by his sister, Mrs. Carolyn R. Tucker; seven children, Tracie Robinson-Brown (Kendrick), Corey Beatty, Michelle Brandon,
Adrian Smith, Renea Jones, Bryan Smith, and Gerald Smith; eleven grandchildren, Teesha Smith, Chasmyn Hill (DeAndre), Sydney Smith, Kyle Littlejohn, Recus Crosby, Aaliyah Smith, Justin Stevens, Christopher Jeter, Shawn Broadus, Raven Jones, and Marcus Jones; two nephews, William Kilgore, III and Alonzo Smith, Jr.; two nieces, Carnissa Kilgore and Lylah Kilgore; eight great grandchildren; devoted family and friends, Ohio Jeter, Mary Glenn, and Brandi Jeter-Brannon; and a host of other loving family and friends.
The family will receive friends at 134 Sims Drive, Union, SC. Arrangements are in the care of Community Mortuary, 361 Meansville Road, Union, SC.
