Stanley Meadows

Stanley Meadows, 69, passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2024 at Reid's Residential Care, Wellford, SC. He was born in Spartanburg, SC, on July, 22, 1955 to the late Jessie Allen and Collette Meadows. He was educated in the Spartanburg County public schools. He retired from Johnson's Sanitation after many years of service.

"Stan" as he was affectionately known, played baseball in his youth. He loved to work and had a deep affection for his family. He enjoyed walking and talking to people. He was an outgoing person who never met a stranger.

Stan was preceded in death by his sister,  Anna Marie Meadows and his brother, Steven Meadows. He leaves behind two close cousins, Thomas Cheeks and William Foster, and host of other relatives, friends, and neighbors, all of whom will sorely miss him.

Arrangements are in the care of Community Mortuary, Inc., 102 Marion Avenue, Spartanburg, SC.
