Sara Sue Jefferies

Sara Sue Jefferies, daughter of the late Claude Littlejohn and Beatrice Jefferies, was born in Union County, SC on June 26, 1940.  She entered into eternal rest on October 18, 2021.

She attended the public schools of Union County and was a member of Foster Chapel Baptist Church of Jonesville.  She was a former employee of Exopack.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Jesse Littlejohn; and two sisters, Tena Crawford and Lucille Crawford.

She leaves to cherish many memories to her two sons, Wade Jefferies of Jonesville, SC and Michael Jefferies of Buffalo, SC; three daughters, Cheryl Good of Spartanburg, SC, Kathy (Michael) Henderson of Jonesville, SC, and Lisa (Lorenzo) Porchea of Gaffney, SC; twelve grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Robert Jefferies of Gaffney, SC; four sisters, Geneva Ruth of Hartford, CT, Peggy O’neal of Spartanburg, SC, Delores Brown of Charlotte, NC, and Minister Alice Littlejohn of Gaffney, SC; one aunt, Elizabeth Smith; and a host of nieces, other nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

Arrangements are with Community Mortuary, Inc., 361 Meansville Road, Union, SC.
