Rose Marie Stewart

Rose Marie Stewart, of Union, SC, was born on Tuesday, February 6, 1962. She passed away on Friday, April 4, 2025, at the age of sixty-three. A native of Union, SC, she was daughter of the late James "Snugg" Stewart and Annie Pearl Neal Stewart. 

Rose was a graduate of Union High School, class of 1981. She earned a bachelor’s degree in counseling education from South Carolina State University in Orangeburg, SC. After many years of dedicated service, she retired from the Union County Disabilities and Special Needs Board. She was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church in Union, SC.

In addition to her parents, Rose was preceded in death by two sisters, Angela DeLisa Stewart and Pamela Fontella Stewart. 

Those who remain to cherish her memory include two brothers, Mack Stewart and Patrick Stewart; two sisters, Paula (Bruce) Fuller and Tracy Stewart Moorman; a special niece, and nephew reared like her own, Tierra Simmons and Devante Stewart; great nephew, Ace Goode; great nieces Ava Goode and Nevaeh Goode; uncle, Russell Neal; great aunt, Karen Glenn; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends all of whom will miss her dearly.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Community Mortuary, Inc., 361 Meansville Road, Union, SC.
