Roger Mills, 63, of Moore, SC passed away on August 19, 2022. A native of Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of the late Clarence Mills, Sr. and Annie Mae McIntyre Mills. He was a 1978 graduate of Boiling Springs High School and attended Benedict College in Columbia, SC. Mr. Mills also served in the United States Navy and was honorably discharged after several years of service.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Leroy Mills and Clarence Mills, Jr.
He leaves fond and precious memories to three brothers, Dr. Bobby Mills of Houston, TX; Robert (Sidney) Mills of Spartanburg, SC; and Ronnie Mills of Rutherfordton, NC; three sisters, Betty Saxon, Carolyn Mills, and Shirley Mills (James) Gilliam, all of Spartanburg, SC; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, all of whom will sorely miss him. The family will receive friends at 1903 Mark Court, Spartanburg, SC. Arrangements have been entrusted to Community Mortuary, Inc., 102 Marion Avenue, Spartanburg, SC.
