Roger Allen Jones

Roger Allen Jones, 61, of Wellford, SC, passed away on Friday, May 24, 2025, at his residence. A native of Spartanburg County, he was the son of Ray Allen Jones and Barbara Jean Browning Jones. He was a 1982 graduate of Byrnes High School and furthered his education at Spartanburg Methodist College. He then went on to graduate from Newberry College in 1986. Roger was a member of First Baptist Church of Fairforest. He was currently employed with Michelin Tire Company. 

Roger was preceded in death by one son, Kyshon S. Jones.

He leaves fond and precious memories to his children: Jerrika Jones (Yusef) Brinson and her mother, Sonya Moon; Aymee Emyli Jones and her mother, Dorisenica Mack Fludd; Serenity Jones and her mother, Tina Lomax; two grandchildren, Josiah Brinson and Amara Jones; his mother, Barbara Jones of the home; his father, Ray Allen Jones; brothers, Ray A. Jones, Jeffrey N. Jones, and Dean E. (Addie) Jones; sisters, Lelonnie Battle and Kristi Woods; special cousin, Gwen Richardson; and his fiance, Lisa Drummond; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, all of whom will miss him dearly.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Community Mortuary Inc., 102 Marion Avenue, Spartanburg, SC.
