Robert Charles Ray

Robert Charles Ray was born in Union County, SC on October 8, 1939, and passed in Owings Mills, MD on October 24, 2022. He graduated from Sims High School class of 1958. He graduated Allen University, Columbia SC class of 1962. He served his country in the US Air Force and was discharged in 1966 as an Senior Airman (E3). He was preceded in death by his mother, Cornelia Ray; his father, Ruben Stephens; one son; one daughter; great aunt, Henrietta Ray; aunt, Catherine Ray; and uncle, Clifford Ray. Sr. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Ray; three sons, Chandler, Daryl, and Derrick Ray; six grandchildren; and two great-grand children; and a host of other family. A viewing will be held at Wylie Funeral Home (Baltimore County) on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Funeral services will held at Wylie Funeral Home on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at 12 noon. A wake will be held at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery.
