Obituary
Ralph Andrew Tucker, Sr., 68, of Carlisle, SC passed away on Wednesday morning, March 29, 2023 at his residence. A native of Union County, he was the son of the late Julian Oscar Tucker and Edmonia Jeter Tucker. He was a 1972 graduate of Union High School and a member of McBeth Baptist Church. The Honorable Ralph A. Tucker. Sr. was a member of Union County Council representing District Two. He spent many years as a dedicated supervisor for Carlisle Finishing, a division of Cone Mills.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Gerald Clifford Tucker, Eugene Tucker, James "Jake" Tucker, Sylvester Tucker and two sisters, Dorothy Tucker Spann and Ruth Herticene Tucker.
He leaves precious memories to his devoted wife Sandra Jean Beacham Tucker; one son Ralph A. (Sonya) Tucker, Jr.; one daughter Melissa Renee Tucker; three brothers Freddie (Barbara) Tucker, Kent (Lovella) Tucker, Bobby (Stella) Tucker; two sisters Patricia Leslie and Jo Sandra Tucker; two grandchildren, Alexiz Imani Allen and Koeffee Ceyvon-Appiah Allen; one brother-in-law Amos Beacham; three sisters-in-law Ida Tucker, Peggy Beacham and Sarah Beacham; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends all of whom will miss him dearly.
Arrangements are with Community Mortuary, 361 Meansville Road, Union, SC.
