Pamela Brockman

Pamela Brockman, 60, of Spartanburg, SC, departed this life on Sunday, June 30, 2024, at Spartanburg Medical Center. She was born on October 25, 1963. A native of Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Jackie Hightower. Pamela was a graduate of Spartanburg High School. She lived in New York City for a while and worked as a nurse aide at Bellevue Hospital. She was a member of Disciples of Christ in Spartanburg, SC. She enjoyed singing at church, in choir groups and other events. When Pamela’s mother passed away from cancer, she relocated to Spartanburg, SC. She did not take the loss of her mother lightly. Through her struggles, Pamela loved her children and grandchildren, only wanting the best for them. 

Pamela leaves cherished memories with two sons, Katrell (Paulette) Brockman, and Angel Brockman; two daughters, Tamara Brockman, and Maya Brockman (Jaquan Brown); two grandchildren, Suave and Makari; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends. She will be remembered as a mother who cared deeply for her children and a friend who was always willing to give a helping hand.The family will receive friends at 1631 Fernwood Glendale Road, Apt E-6, Spartanburg, SC. Arrangements have been entrusted to Community Mortuary, Inc., 102 Marion Avenue, Spartanburg, SC.
