Olivia (Gambrell) Byrd

Olivia Gambrell Byrd, 84, of Spartanburg, SC passed away June 28, 2020 in Spartanburg Medical Center.  A native of Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late John Gambrell and Kandi Gambrell.  Olivia worked at the Varsity Drive In for twenty-five years.  She was a true lady of God. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Sherman Gambrell. She is survived by five granddaughters, Tanya, Tamika, Shamika, Nikeasta and Takevia all of Anderson, SC; a host great grandchildren; one nephew, Terry English of Spartanburg, SC; two nieces Cherry Anderson and Demetria Hall both of Spartanburg, SC; three brothers and two sisters of Baltimore, MD; and a host of other relatives and friends   Arrangements are with Community Mortuary, 102 Marion Avenue, Spartanburg, SC.
