Odell Hunter

Mr. Odell Hunter, 79, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed away Friday, March 22, 2024, at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Velma Foster Hunter of the home. Born in Spartanburg County, he was a son of the late Arthur and Maggie Gilliam Hunter. 

Surviving, in addition to his wife: one daughter, Deirdra (Franck) Hunter, of Dallas, TX; one sister Maggie Hunter, of Woodruff, SC; two brothers, James Nathaniel (Mae Helen) Hunter, of Woodruff, SC; and Rev. Roosevelt (Lola) Kelly, of Shelby, NC; two grandchildren, Icon O’Vel and Titan Maxwell, both of Dallas, TX; and a host of other relatives and friends. 

Funeral Services: Friday, March 29, 2024, 1:00pm, at Reedy River Missionary Baptist Church, with interment in Graceland East Memorial Park. 2206 Woodruff Road, Simpsonville, SC, 2968.
