Nia Alexis Peak, beloved daughter of Richard A. J. Peak and Althea Webster Peak, was born in Spartanburg County, SC on November 27, 1995. She departed this life on April 19, 2022.
Nia was a 2014 graduate of Boiling Springs High School. She earned her undergraduate degree from Claflin University in Orangeburg, SC and completed the requirements and was awarded the Master of Medical Science Degree from North Greenville University in Greenville, SC. She attended Saint Paul Baptist Church in Orangeburg, SC.
Nia had recently gained employment as a healthcare provider at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center as a Physician Assistant.
She leaves to cherish fond memories, her father, Richard A. J. Peak; her mother, Althea Peak; her brother, Omari James Peak; her maternal grandmother, Virginia Joann Webster (Jerry) Sullivan; her fiancé, Devane Thomas; uncles, Devin (Ann) Webster and Billy Miller; aunts, Alisa Peak, Ella Walker, Cierra Boozer, December Boozer, and Katie Boozer; and a host of other loving relatives, friends, and colleagues.
Nia was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Georgia Mae Gage; her paternal grandfather, Arthur James Peak; and her maternal grandfather, Alfonso Webster.
The "Ivy Beyond the Wall" Ceremony will be held 4:00 p. m. Sunday, April 24, 2022 at Community Mortuary.
A Celebration of Life for Nia Peak will be held Monday, April 25, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Foster's Grove Baptist Church. The Reverend Horace Wilson will officiate. The family will receive friends at the home of her great-aunt at 1990 Highway 11 West, Chesnee, SC.
