Nettie Mae Caldwell was born on November 8, 1956. A native of Inman, SC, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Caldwell and Rosie Lee Benson Caldwell.
A Life Well Spent…
Nettie was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. She was a former employee of Lyman-Spring Mills. She loved crossword puzzles. She loved to dress nicely. She loved people and never met a stranger.
Sunset…
Nettie entered eternal rest Sunday, May 11, 2025, at Magnolia Manor, Inman, SC. She was preceded in death by two brothers; Walter Caldwell and William Bryson Caldwell; four sisters, Joyce Ann Caldwell, Annie Ruth Fleming, Dorothy Lee Caldwell Nesbitt, and Mary Louise Caldwell Childs; and one nephew, Jonathan “John John” Caldwell.
Those Who Remain…
She leaves to cherish loving memories; two sons, Shawn Alexander, and Darrell “Milo” Alexander of Spartanburg, SC; two grandchildren, Gonzales and Brooklyn Alexander; one brother, Robert (Lois Mae) Caldwell of Inman, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends all of whom will miss her dearly.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Community Mortuary, Inc., 102 Marion Avenue, Spartanburg, SC.
