Missouri (Smith) "Doll" Littlejohn

Missouri Smith Wingo “Doll” Littlejohn, 79, of 156 West Pearl Street, Spartanburg, SC passed away November 25, 2019 in Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.  A native of Spartanburg County, SC, she was the widow of James J. Littlejohn and daughter of the late Landrum Smith and Mary Means McMahan.  She was a member of Mount Sinai Baptist Church and a 1958 graduate of Carver High School.  She worked for Spartanburg General Hospital and was retired from White Oak Manor Nursing.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Gayle McMahan and Charlotte Brown.  She is survived by one son, Reverend J. L. Littlejohn of Spartanburg, SC; two daughters, Teresa Littlejohn of Spartanburg, SC and Janice Wingo of Charlotte, NC; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three brothers, Adolphus Brown of Spartanburg, SC, Robert McMahan of Spartanburg, SC, and Arthur McMahan of Springfield, VA; two sisters,  Allene McClain of Spartanburg, SC and Linda Smith of Spartanburg, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.  The family will receive friends at the home.  Arrangements are with Community Mortuary, 102 Marion Avenue, Spartanburg, SC
