Milton Pearson

Milton Pearson, 94, of Spartanburg, SC, passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2023, at Spartanburg Medical Center. A native of Spartanburg, SC, he was the husband of the late Yvonne Thompson “Bonnie” Pearson and son of the late Stanyard Pearson and Darvara Tinsley Pearson.

Milton was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Spartanburg, SC. He graduated from the Public Schools of Spartanburg, SC. He was a retired custodial manager at Service Masters.

In addition to his wife and parents, Milton was preceded in death by five brothers, Marvin Pearson, Melvin Pearson, Albert Pearson, Willie Pearson, and Stanyard Pearson, Jr.; two sisters, Helen White, and Loree Pearson; one half-sister, Katherine Ballenger.

Milton leaves precious memories to one son Romeo (Ola) Pearson; one step-son, Undrey Thompson; one step-daughter, Shona (Marcus) Washington; fifteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends all whom will miss him dearly.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Community Mortuary, Inc., 102 Marion Avenue, Spartanburg, SC.
