Mildred (Reid) Chambers

Mildred Reid Chambers of Wellford, SC, passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2020 at her home.  She was a native of Spartanburg County, SC an was the daughter of the late Madison Reid and Lille Ruth Davis Reid.  She was a faithful member of New Trinity Baptist Church where she served on the Usher Board.  She retired from Butte Knit.  She was a 1967 graduate of Florence Chapel High School.  She was preceded in death by her parents; step-mother, Mabel Maxton; and one sister, Jacqueline Kerns.  She leaves her fond memories to her daughter, WyKeshia Davis of Lyman, SC; six sisters, Sennie Reid Wright of DE, April Reid of Wellford, SC, Janice Maxton of Moore, SC, and Glenda Ann Green and Tracy Stevens both of Spartanburg, SC; one brother, Phil Reid of Wellford, SC; three grandchildren, SaNyah Davis, Khloe Burgess, and Jace Coker; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving relatives and friends.  Community Mortuary Inc. 102 Marion Avenue Spartanburg, SC is in charge of the arrangements.
