Michael Eugene Hardy

Michael Eugene Hardy was born on February 6, 1956. A native of Union, SC, he was the husband of Linda Jane Hardy and the son of the late Jessie James "Pop" Hardy, Sr. and Martha Irene Young Hardy.

Michael was a member of the Union Seventh Day Adventist Church. He was a graduate of Union High School. He was self-employed as a brick mason.

On Thursday morning, October 13, 2022, Michael entered eternal rest at his residence. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Reverend Arthur Jerome "Roach" Hardy, Willie Leroy Hardy, and Jesse James Hardy, Jr. He leaves to cherish many fond memories to his wife, Linda Jane Hardy;  three sons, Michael (Regina) Hardy, Jr., Brison Means, and Gregory Means; two daughters, Markela Sharnae Hardy and Amanda Hardy; six grandchildren, Addison Hardy, Michael Hardy, III, Chance Hardy, Chloe Means, Gabrielle Means, and Aubree Hardy; one sister, Jacqueline Hardy Fleming; one uncle, Willie Hardy;  and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

 Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 17,  2022, at the Union Seventh Day Adventist Church. Interment will follow in Rosemont Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at 118 East Lee Street, Union, SC. (Masks are required at all services and when visiting the home.
