Mary Ellen Lyles

Mary Lyles entered eternal rest on Monday, June 13, 2022, at her home. She was the daughter of the late Raymond Morgan and Albertha Laymon Osbey.  She was the widow of James Lyles. 

She was a member of New Day Baptist Church. 

In addition to her  husband and parents, Mary was preceded in death by, two brothers, Clarence Aull and Johnny Morgan; one sister, Bertha Wingo; two aunts, Minnie Laymon and Mary Lee Jackson; two nieces, Miranda Aull and Mildred Morgan. 

She leaves to cherish many memories; two sons, Bruce (Roberta) Lyles of Inman, SC, and Willie Ray Wingo of Greenville, SC; twelve grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, one brother, Eddie (Brenda) Aull of Spartanburg, SC; one sister, Frances (Isaac) Wilson of Pauline, SC; one aunt, Myrtle Lee Gary of Newberry, SC; two special nieces, Velma (Tony) Moorman and Doris Jones; two special cousins, Glenn (Toni) Cook, and Robert (Lois) Laymon and a host of other loving nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends at the home of her son, Bruce Lyles, 309 James Allgood Drive, Inman, SC. Arrangements are with Community Mortuary, Inc., 102 Marion Avenue, Spartanburg, SC.
