Mamie Ruth Green was born June 11, 1960 to the late Oliver Green, Sr. and Elnora L. Dawkins Green. She departed this life on Friday, December 3, 2021 at her home.
She attended Mount Calvary Baptist Church and was employed with Inman Mills for fifteen years.
Mamie was an awesome mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend to many.
She was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Jacob Sincere Green and William Green; and three brothers, Oliver Green, Jr., Willie James Green and Danny Oliver Green.
Mamie leaves to cherish many memories, two sons, Cory A. (Tracey) Green of Waterloo, SC and Blake A. Green of Spartanburg, SC; six grandchildren; three brothers, Paul (Barbara) Dawkins, Johnny Green, and Wayne Green all of Union, SC; two sisters, Frances (Sam) Ellis of Hopewell, VA and Estelle (Michael) Holloway of Cross Keys, SC; god daughter, Chitina H. (Joseph) Smith of Union, SC; sister-in-law, Mary Ruth Green and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and other relatives and friends. Arrangements are with Community Mortuary, 361 Meansville Road, Union, SC.
