Maggie Waddell Obituary
Maggie Andrea Waddell, 59, of Spartanburg, SC, passed away Monday, March 21, 2022 at Spartanburg Medical Center. A native of Hendersonville, NC, she was the daughter of Lynette Gray Waddell Brannon and the late Noah Brown, Jr. She attended Newport News High School, Newport News, VA. Maggie was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, Spartanburg, SC.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Kelvin Brown.
Those left to cherish fond and loving memories are her son, Samuel E. Stokes, III; two grandchildren, Samaje Stokes and Samiriah L. Stokes; one great-granddaughter, Journey Floyd; mother, Lynette Gray Waddell Brannon; four brothers, Noah Brown, Kenneth Brown, Keith Brown, and Eddie Brown; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, all of whom will sorely miss her. Arrangements have been entrusted to Community Mortuary Inc., 102 Marion Avenue, Spartanburg, SC.
