Maggie L. Copeland

Maggie L. Copeland, 67, transitioned from her earthly home  on Sunday night, April 26, 2020.  A native of Spartanburg, SC she was the daughter of the late John Copeland and Pauline Scruggs Copeland.  She was a faithful member of New Faith International Church where she served in many capacities.  She served as a Trustee, usher, choir member, Willing Workers Ministry and Pastor's Aid.  She truly loved her Pastor and would say "bet not mess with my Pastor, I'll take it to you".   In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by one son, Kenneth Eugene Copeland; three brothers, John "Jay" Copeland, John Sterling Copeland, Boyce Lee Copeland; five sisters, Birdie Mae Foster, Rosa Mae Copeland, Dorothy Wells, Sally Copeland, and Doris Ann Wallace.  She is survived by one son, Marcus L. Copeland of Inman, SC; one daughter, Renee Copeland of Inman, She; two brothers, Bobby (Catherine) Copeland and Thomas Copeland both of Inman, SC; one sister, Darline Copeland of Inman, SC; five grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.  The family is at 17 Bridges Street in Inman, SC.  Arrangements are with Community Mortuary, 102 Marion Avenue, Spartanburg, SC.
