Mabel McAbee

Mabel A. McAbee, 76, of 19 Lynwood Drive, Spartanburg, SC passed away Friday night, May 1, 2020 in Upstate Community Hospice House in Landrum, SC. A native of Spartanburg, SC she was the daughter of the late William and Mattie McAbee Dillard.  She was a member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church Whitestone in Spartanburg, SC.  She retired as a production worker from Borden's.  She leaves to cherish her fond memories to one son, Bobby Dawkins of Spartanburg, SC; two daughters, Annette Dorsey and Debra (Adrian) Thomas both of Spartanburg, SC; one sister, Barbara Jean Maxwell of Spartanburg, SC; nine grandchildren, Monica Dawkins, Kutona Frye, Ronnette Brown, Jonah Brown, Scotty Brown, Adrianna Thomas, Aravian Thomas, Sheneka Brown, and Bobby Brown, Jr.; eighteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.  Arrangements are with Community Mortuary, 102 Marion Avenue, Spartanburg, SC.
