Lucia Baumann

Lucia De Oliveira Baumann, 79, of Boiling Springs, SC, departed this earthly on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at Mary Black Memorial Hospital. A native of Sao Paulo, Brazil, she was the widow of Harald F.J. Baumann and the daughter of the late Benedito Nogueira and Nazare De Oliveira Nogueira. 

She earned a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from Universidade Estadual de Campina in Brazil. Throughout her life, she held various positions at which she excelled. Lucia was a kind and devoted mother and grandmother, not only loved by her family, but all those who were graced to encounter her warm spirit. 

Lucia was preceded in death by one brother, Jose Paulo Nogueira.

She leaves fond and precious memories to her three sons, Marco (Della-Rae) Baumann, Claudio Baumann, and Fabio (Christine) Baumann; five adoring grandchildren; one brother, Antonio Carlos Nogueira; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, all of whom will miss her dearly.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Community Mortuary, Inc., 102 Marion Avenue, Spartanburg, SC.
