Evangelist Lisa Junasia “LeLe” Wheeler was born on December 11, 1965, in Spartanburg, SC. She entered eternal rest on January 1, 2024, at home peacefully surrounded by her family. Lisa was the daughter of Mildred V. Wheeler and the late Robert Earl Wheeler, Sr. She attended Spartanburg School District 6 and was a former employee of Duke Energy in Gaffney, SC.
Evangelist Lisa served in ministry to youth and as a church bus driver. She was a loving aunt, godmother, daughter, and family member.
In addition to her father, Lisa was preceded in death by a baby brother, Norman O. “Fi-Ball” Brown and a niece, Hope Wheeler.
Left to cherish fond and loving memories are; her mother, Mildred V. Wheeler; brother, Minister Robert (Blanca) Wheeler, Jr. of Greenville, SC; two sisters, Shelia D. Wheeler and Jacqueline L. (Michael) Scott of Spartanburg, SC; her long-time companion, Terry Brannon of the home; uncles, Joe M. (Betty) Wheeler of Lyman, SC, Wilma Littlejohn of Gaffney, SC and Waymon Littlejohn of Chesnee, SC; aunts, Barbara Hunter, Lillian Wheeler Cheatham, Bobbie Joe Wheeler of Spartanburg, SC, Carrie Mack of Wellford, SC; nieces, Towanda Wheeler, Brittany Wheeler, Mikala Scott, Tynesha Scott, Chelsea Wheeler, Michaela Scott, and Emily Ortega Jimenez all of Spartanburg, SC; nephews, Kenneth Wheeler, Terrence Miller, Bruce Geter, and Patrouba Wheeler, all of Spartanburg, SC; an honorary sister, Marilyn D. Miller of Spartanburg, SC; a spiritual goddaughter, Camille Miller of Spartanburg, SC; and a host of dear cousins, friends and family all of whom will miss her dearly.
The family will receive friends at her mother's home, 264 Pierpont Avenue, Spartanburg, SC.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Community Mortuary, Inc., 102 Marion Avenue, Spartanburg, SC.
