Linda K. (Kirby) Pennington

Linda K. Kirby Pennington, 75, of Pacolet, SC, went home to be with the Lord at Ellen Sagar Nursing Center in Union, SC, on March 10, 2025. She was surrounded by a few nurses and CNA's as she peacefully passed away. 

Linda was the daughter of the late Bennie and Inez Kirby of Pacolet, SC. She was the widow of the late Marshall Pennington of Spartanburg, SC. She was predeceased by her sister Alma Willis of Bridgeport, Connecticut. She leaves behind three aunts; Geraldine Justis of Inman, SC, Catherine Robinson of Union, SC, Frances Wells of Spartanburg, SC as well as some cousins. She also leaves behind her nephew, Mike Shaw of Florence, SC, her godchildren, Kaleb Vaughn of Pacolet, SC, and Kaygan Nunn of Spartanburg, SC, and her best friend, Christy Jordan (Jamie) of Pacolet, SC. 

Linda was a member of of Pacolet United Methodist Church in Pacolet, SC. The family will be at their respective homes. Linda's family wants to thank the staff at Ellen Sagar Nursing Center for the amazing care Linda received there.
