Lincoln Eric “Link” Hardy, 55, of Union, SC, passed away Saturday, May 17, 2025, at his home. He was the son of James Hardy and Lillie V. Glenn Hardy.
Lincoln joined McBeth Baptist Church at an early age. He was a 1989 graduate of Union High School. He drove a school bus for many years. He also worked for the South Carolina Department of Correction Tyger River and the South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice in Union, SC. Lincoln was a likeable guy who always wore a smile.
Lincoln was preceded in death by one brother, Melvin Henry Hardy.
Lincoln leaves precious memories to his son, Terrell Hardy. Lincoln also raised Nathawyin Foster, Amin Foster, Michael Foster and Aamoni Foster; four brothers, Charles Hardy, James (Sherry) Glenn, Joe (Donna) Hardy, Stanley Hardy; two sisters, Merrill Glenn and Sonja Hardy (Bradley Fowler); aunts, Ruby (Wilmer) Davis, Amelia Glenn, Emma (Charles) Meadow, Agnes Brice and Clemmie Ward; one uncle O’Dell Hardy Sr.; and a special friend of 16 years, Marilyn Liburd along with her daughter, Latosha Liburd, and her grandchildren, Daniyah Betts and Staniyah Bluford; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends all of whom will miss him dearly.
The family will receive friends at 512 South Pinckney Street, Union. Arrangements have been entrusted to Community Mortuary, Inc., 361 Meansville Road, Union, SC.
