Lillie Pearl Canty Cohen, 82, of Spartanburg, SC, passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.
A native of Baltimore, MD, she was the widow of Willie Edward Cohen and daughter of the late John Henry Rogers and Odell Petty. Lillie was educated in Spartanburg County Public Schools. She was a member of Community Bible Believers Church in Spartanburg, SC.
In addition to her husband and parents, Lillie was preceded in death by her daughter, Carolyn Delois Canty and grandson, Reginald Canty.
Leaving to cherish precious and fond memories are one son, Robert E. Canty; two daughters, Teresa Canty and Sharon Canty; many, grandchildren and great grandchildren; a special nephew, Oscar Means; niece and caregiver, Meshell "Coot" Spencer; special god-daughter, Aleshia (James) Parks; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends all of whom will miss her dearly.
