 LaMarwin DeShawn Kershaw, Sr., 32, of 508 Foster Street, Union, South Carolina, was born to James and Marilyn Kershaw on February 17, 1992.

Sunset:

A native of Union County, SC, LaMarwin tragically departed this earthly life on Sunday, March 3, 2024. God chose a great one to accent His garden. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ruby Mae Beacham and John R. Meadow and his paternal grandparents, Mable and Columbus Kershaw.

A Life Well Spent:

LaMarwin was a 2011 graduate of Union County High School. He was employed as a Shift Manager at Arby’s of Union. He was a member of McBeth Baptist Church. He was an All-Star Baseball Player with the Elks Baseball Team. His favorite pass time included spending time with his children and supporting everything they took part in, riding his motorcycle, dancing, laughing, listening to music, and being a “kid at heart.” He was very outgoing and loved life and his family.

Those Left to Cherish His Memories:

LaMarwin leaves precious memories to his parents, James and Marilyn Kershaw; his eight children, LaKenzie Kershaw, LaMarwin Kershaw, Jr. “Luke”, Liam Kershaw, Kaiden Stewart, Laterrian Fleming, Kali Williford, Kennedi and Kassidi Kershaw; his sister, LaCretia Kershaw; his cousins that were reared in the home, Sanderia and Kameisha Jeter; his fiancé, Tianeshia Stewart; his aunts: Cynthia (Chris) Jeter, Nan Rogers, Blanche Kershaw, Laurie (Pastor John) Henderson, Edna Kershaw, and Lorraine Kershaw; an uncle, Roosevelt Hardy; his great-aunts, Sara Beacham, Sandra Tucker, and Peggy Beacham; a great-uncle, Amos Beacham; a very close friend, more like a brother, Mikos Johnson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
