LaWanda Clowney

LaWanda Sherice Clowney was born January 27, 1974, and departed this life on April 27, 2022 at Heartland Healthcare Center-Union. She was the daughter of Raymond L. Smith and Vanessa A. Clowney Smith. She was reared in the home of her grandmother, Janie Clowney.

She was baptized at Wyatts Chapel Baptist Church.

Her joy in life was her children and grandchildren.

She leaves to cherish many memories, two daughters, Shermorris Clowney and Quadayjah Clowney both of Union, SC; four grandchildren, Jamarion Clowney, Qu’Riya Clowney, Mo’Ziya Clowney and Messiah Clowney; father, Raymond L. (Belinda) Smith of Union, SC; mother, Vanessa A. Clowney of Union, SC; two sisters, Matisha (Johnathan) Smith of Jonesville, SC and Cherita Davis of Spartanburg, SC; two special friends, Kim Dawkins and Sonya Shippy and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Arrangements are with Community Mortuary, Inc. 361 Meansville Road, Union, SC.
