Kayson David Jeter

Kayson David Jeter, 48, of Carlisle, SC, passed away at his residence on Monday, January 15, 2024. A native of Union, SC. he was the son of the late Knovell Sims and Mae Frances Jeter. He was a graduate of Union High School and went on to attend Benedict College. 

In addition to his parents, Kayson was preceded in death by his grandmother, Grace A. Woods; uncles, Rex Stevens and Fred Stevenson; aunt, Sylvia Ann Henderson Thomas; brother-in-law, Darin Davis; and a sister-in-law, Barbara Savage.

He leaves fond memories to his beloved daughter, Kaylin Faye Jeter; seven brothers, James (Leah) Hawkins, Joe Lewis Jeter, Ed Savage, Donnie Thompson, Knovell Harris, Kenneth Harris, and Rodney (Tametra) Woods; two sisters, Allison (John) Glenn and Loria Davis; uncles, Joe H. (Muriel) Woods, Woodrow (Judy) Jeter, Jr., John O. Jeter, Woodrow Woods and Michael Walton; aunts, Mary Lee Jeter, Rose N. McClain, Princess (Leroy) Edwards and Delphia Woods; great aunt, Annie P. Farr; two special nieces, Sakinah Good and Toria Jeter; and a host of other caring nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, all of whom will sorely miss him.
