Judy Ann Williams, 78, of Spartanburg, SC, passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024, at her residence. A native of Spartanburg, SC, she was the widow of Joe Lewis Williams and the daughter of the late Rooseveth Gentry and the late Hattie Mae Lowrance Gentry. Judy was educated in the Public Schools of Spartanburg County. She earned her living for many years as a dedicated custodian for the Spartanburg County School System. She attended Holden Chapel Baptist Church of Boiling Springs, SC.
In addition to her husband and parents, Judy was preceded in death by two brothers; Joe Gentry and Anthony Gentry.
Judy leaves fond and precious memories with two sons; Michael “Mike” Gentry (Angie Bailey), and Tommy (Debra) Gentry; one daughter; Fannie (Gary) Jones; eight grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; six brothers, Willie (Alice) Gentry, Dock Gentry, James Gentry, Paul Gentry, Curtis (Robin) Gentry, and Connie Gentry; three sisters, Annie (Bennie) Mullins, Katie Bailey, and Vernell (James) Mullins; sister-in-law, Mary Elizabeth Williams; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends, all of whom will miss her dearly.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Community Mortuary, Inc., 102 Marion Avenue, Spartanburg, SC.
