Joseph Lee Boston

Joseph Lee "Joe" Boston, 72 , of Spartanburg, SC, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at Spartanburg Medical Center. A native of Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of both the late Timothy Melvin Bivings and Addie Lee Boston Brewer. He graduated from Spartanburg High School, class of 1970. He retired from Arkwright Mills after thirty-two years of service. Joe was a very humble and respectful man. He loved many things which included, Western tv, movie classics, biblical movies, gardening, cooking and talking to others about the stories of the Bible. 

In addition to his parents, Joe was predeceased by two brothers, Timothy Jerome Bivings, and Aaron Eugene Brewer.

Those left to cherish fond memories are three sisters, Carolyn Brewer, Brenda Brewer, and Patricia Bivings Tanner; two brothers, Kevin Bivings, and Donald Bivings; aunts, Doris Walker, and Dianne Turley; two god-sisters, Linda Walker, and Launetta Baker; two special cousins, Ralph Wilson and Jerome Boston; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins all of whom will miss him dearly.
