Obituary

Joe Henry McBeth, widower of Gloria Fields McBeth and son of the late Lewis Booker T. McBeth and Bertha Jeter McBeth was born in Union County, SC on November 10, 1958. He departed this life on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 in Spartanburg Medical Center.

Joe was reared in the Cross Keys Community and was a 1976 graduate of Union High School. He was a member of New Hope AME Zion Church. He was a former employee of Adidas.

He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; two brothers, James Jeter and Wayne McBeth; and one sister, Corine McBeth.

He leaves precious and endearing memories to his beloved daughter, Josette McBeth of Atlanta, GA; two grandchildren; one brother, Lewis (Lettie) McBeth of TN; two sisters, Dorothy (Ernell) Barrett of Union, SC and Angela (Michael) Jones of Rock Hill, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Arrangements have been entrusted with Community Mortuary Inc., 361 Meansville Road, Union, SC.
