Jimmy "Lil Jimmy" Adamo, Jr., 46, of Spartanburg, SC, was born on January 28, 1980. He entered eternal life on Monday, April 20, 2026. A native of Jonesville, SC, he was the son of Sally J. Adamo and the late Jimmy Adamo Sr.
Jimmy was a man that wore many hats, of many jobs. He was a good hearted man that would help in any way possible. He was a hard worker. He was a man that knew the Lord and loved the Lord. He also loved to listen to Joel Osteen.
In addition to his father, Jimmy was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Pasquale and Michiko Adamo; his maternal grandparents, Clarence and Mae Frances Murphy Sr.; and three uncles, Michael Adamo, George Adamo, and Clarence Murphy, Jr.
Left to cherish fond and loving memories are his mom, Sally J. Adamo of Spartanburg, SC; three daughters, Nikeria Adamo of Greer, SC, MyDestiny Thomas of Union, Ahlazja Adamo of Greenville, SC; six sons, Jamari Grady of Simpsonville, SC; Pasquale J. Adamo of Greenville, SC; Evan Knowlin of Summerville, SC; Arashi Adamo and Luciano Adamo of Spartanburg County, SC, and Pasquale Adamo of Chester, SC; one grandson, A'Mir Adamo; one brother, Bryan (Dominique) Adamo, Sr. of Spartanburg, SC; four uncles, Billy Ray Murphy of Spartanburg, SC, Charles Murphy of North Carolina, Ricky (Teresa) Murphy of Jonesville, SC, and Tommy (Penny) Adamo of Union, SC; four aunts, Mae Ruth Murphy of Union, SC, Gladys Sims of Jonesville, SC, Rebecca Browning of Spartanburg, SC, and Linda Bauer of Jupiter, FL; three nieces, four nephews, and a host of cousins and special friends, all of whom will miss him dearly.
The family will receive friends at 125 Pawnee Drive, Spartanburg, SC. Arrangements have been entrusted to Community Mortuary, Inc., 102 Marion Avenue, Spartanburg, SC.
