Jimmy Derrick "Big Farr" Pilgrim

Jimmy Derrick “Big Farr” Pilgrim, 55, of Inman, SC, passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2024, at his residence. A native of Spartanburg, SC, he was the husband of Sharon Ann Jones Pilgrim and the son of the late Willie James Farr and late Willie Ruth Martin Pilgrim.  He attended Spartanburg County Schools. He was a former truck driver for Wes Bolick Waterbeds.

In addition to his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby Pilgrim, and Paul Pilgrim.

Jimmy is survived by his devoted wife, Sharon Pilgrim; three daughters, Tawanna (Clark) Jones, Krishauna Jones and Derrica Jones; one grandson, Zee Moss; one nephew and godson, Jamal Jones; one god-daughter, Erika Snoddy; two brothers, Stephen Pilgrim, and Willie Pilgrim; four sisters, Lizzie Ruth Nesbitt (Edward) Stripling, Virginia Lindsey, Bessie Smith, and Robin P. Campbell; best friend like a brother, Doug “BooBoo” Burgess; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins, other relatives and friends all whom will miss him dearly.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Community Mortuary, 102 Marion Avenue, Spartanburg, SC.
