Jessie Mae (Davis) Styles

Jessie Mae Davis Styles, 71, of Wellford, SC, passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. A native of Cowpens, SC, she was the wife of the late Charles Styles and daughter of the late Etoy Davis, Sr., and the late Mary Pearson Davis.

Jessie was a member of Foster’s Grove Baptist Church in Chesnee, SC. She graduated from Lincoln High School, class of 1970 and was a retiree of Jackson Mills.

In addition to her husband and parents, Jessie was preceded in death by four brothers, Jimmy Davis, Etoy Davis, Jr., Jerry Davis, and Wilmer Davis.

Jessie leaves precious memories to two daughters, Lanair (Terill) Martin, and Luchevia (Michael) Reece; six grandchildren, Stephon Reece, Charles Reece, Michael Reece, Jesston Reece, Isaiah Reece, and Angel Reece; two brothers, Leroy (Jackie) Davis, and Howard (Joanne) Davis; four sisters, Benniefield Whiteside, Margaret Davis, Frances (Stan) Smith, and Susie Davis Moore; two sisters-in-law, Paula Davis and Gail Davis; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends all of whom will miss her dearly.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Community Mortuary, Inc., 102 Marion Avenue, Spartanburg, SC.
