In accordance with COVID-19 precautions (and in cooperation with the church), the number attending the service is limited, seating 2-3 persons to a row, leaving an empty row in between. Jessie Lillian Jeter Moore, 90, of 115 Oak Street, Jonesville, SC passed away Sunday night, June 14, 2020 in Greenville Memorial Hospital. She was born in Jonesville, SC on August 7, 1929 to the late Gary Jeter and Jessie Mae Smith Jeter. She was the widow of Adolphus "Doc" Moore, Sr. She was a longtime member of the Bethany Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by eight brothers and two sisters. She leaves precious memories to one son, Adolphus "Sonny" Moore; one daughter, Brenda G. Rice; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Sandara Baines and Michelle (Douglas) Jeter; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at the home. Arrangements are with Community Mortuary, 361 Meansville Road, Union, SC.
