Jerryveine (Reid) "Jerry" Daniel

Jerryveine “Jerry” Reid Daniel was born January 26, 1933. A native of Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Boyce Lee Reid Sr. and Lela Mae Meredith Reid. She departed her earthly home on June 1, 2026, at the home of her daughter surrounded by her loved ones. She attended Carver High School. She was of the Baptist faith.

Jerry is proceeded in death by her loving companion of 35 years, Nathaniel J. Miller Jr.; three daughters, Mary E. Tinsley Daniel, Margaret L. Daniel Glenn, and Sandra D. Lyles. She was the last of her thirteen siblings.

Left to cherish fond and loving memories are her two devoted daughters Willie Pearl Daniel Watt and Terrian Cassandra Daniel, both of Greenville, SC; six grandchildren, Jerry T. Daniel, Lashunda M. Lyles, Latoya D. Smith, Marcus J. Lyles, Latisa C. Smith, Karwin A. Glenn, all of SC; one son-in-law, Michael D. Lyles, of Spartanburg; twenty-two great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; seven nieces; three nephews; a special and devoted best friend for over 60 years, Ruth Mae Linder of Spartanburg, SC; a special cousin, Mary Sue Lucas of Spartanburg, SC.

The family is at the home of her daughter, Willie Pearl Daniel Watt at 4 Callongton Drive Piedmont, SC

Arrangements have been entrusted to Community Mortuary Inc., 102 Marion Avenue, Spartanburg, SC.
